HUSA Logistics is aware of its role in society. We find it obvious to minimize the impact of our activities on the environment. That is why we are constantly looking for working methods that match this. We take our own responsibility, for example, by having the largest solar panel-covered roof in the province of Groningen built on top of our warehouses. We drive short distances with our electric trucks. And in recent years we have invested heavily in LED lighting in our 66,500 m2 warehouse and on our outdoor areas.
0% impact is achieved with our electric trucks which we use for the short distance transport services we offer. All our other trucks have Euro 6 engines and thus meet the stricter requirements in terms of CO2 emissions. On request, we opt for synthetic diesel with 89% less CO2 emissions.
But we are also happy to think along with you about how we can make your chain more sustainable, for example by reducing the number of kilometres driven, limiting packaging material or making more use of boats or railways.
