Own rail and inland shipping terminal
HUSA Logistics has its own rail terminal of 125,000 m2 neigbouring our inland shipping terminal. The rail terminal has 4 tracks, each 900 metres in length, making it one of the largest inland rail terminals in the Netherlands.

Important logistical crossroads
Due to the connection options on the site, the terminal is extremely suitable for goods that cannot be transported by road as standard, but fortunately water offers an excellent alternative. Upon arrival of large-scale projects, storage can take place directly at the terminal in Veendam. Our rail terminal in Veendam is also extremely suitable for the storage and transshipment of project cargoes that are not subject to weather conditions.
All our terminals are suitable for various purposes and have all the necessary environmental permits and certifications. Our terminals are AEOS and ISO 45.001 certified, among others.

Regiotrucking
HUSA Logistics has a fleet of about 6 trucks, including electric trucks. With this, we take care of the supply and removal of your goods to the desired location. Container transport is also possible. From the office in Veendam, we communicate with the drivers via the on-board computer. This ensures that we always know where your cargo is and how quickly we can schedule the next load. Whether it concerns Food, Non-Food, Feed or ADR-related products, HUSA Logistics is your logistics solution in regional and national traffic. Dangerous goods / Hazardous substances
Our rail terminal in Veendam has a full environmental permit for the storage and transhipment of hazardous substances. Storage in (tank) containers, and additional road transport are among the possibilities. In addition, we offer cleaning of tank containers for this service, for which we have made regional agreements with specialist companies.
Transhipment
If you have a freight train, 44 transhipment can take place at our location, where cars can be unloaded and the pallets can be loaded directly onto the train in a wagon.
